The construction crew working on the new building across from Kroger constantly blocks the multi-use path. The license plate of the truck blocking the path this morning is TK 990LMG.
I saw some neighborhood kids playing on what looked like our neighbors' power or phone box units. The kids were jumping and pushing them and pretending (I think?) to get shocked. One kid looked like he was trying to pull one over. I am concerned that they will get hurt or that a fire will start due to the damage. When I went to tell them to stop, they had run off.
Once again, I need to report excessive grass growth on the lot just west of my lot (105 E Sunny Slopes Dr, Bloomington). It is an area that doesn't appear to belong to anyone--it is the extension of what might have been planned for a street.
Not sure why my trash was not picked up yesterday (Thursday). My recycling was collected, but not two bags of trash (with stickers showing clearly). I guess I can put them in my garage until next Wednesday night, but if there was a problem with the trash that kept it from being picked up, I would like to know what that problem was.
Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. The sidewalks on the drive to the Women's Clinic have curbs rather than a curbcut. This means that a person who uses a power wheelchair can't get to the Clinic via her wheelchair.
