Please say you will discontinue your current practice of "estimating" costs. For me, for two months in a row, the winter estimations are more than six times my historical average. I use water for sprinklers in the summer, not the winter. I use 3 to 4 units in the winter, but I'm being charged for 15. Please stop that practice.

My roommates and I have discovered that there was a leak with one of our toilets which caused it to continously run. So after we received our first month water bill we noticed that the bill was outrageously high and we immediately called the landlord to fix the leak. Since there was a leak, I am requesting a water bill appeal form if possible. Thank you.

I did not receive my bill this month and it is not on the website, but I already made my payment with a surcharge, only the balance due appears. I have had months of harassment on my account first charging me 28 to 40 dollars in my bill, the cover of my water meter was out of place for days and then I went to the office where they shouted to me that it was my fault the wrong size of my garbage cart and now not only does not get my receipt, you do not put it on the internet paging for me to know, now that you are charging me. Someone knows why and can inform me?

I wish that on the online billing for water/sewer bills you could set it up to allow you in advance to pick the date to pay your bill like other companies do like Vectren and Duke. At this time if you want to pay your bill on the due date you have to wait til the due date to pay it. Very inconvenient. I like going on line and set up manually when to pay my bills but can't do this with Bloomington utilities.

I was billed for 3000 gallons of water in a month that I used less than 100. Both the meter and the next bill I received reflect this. I assumed I would be credited for the overpayment when the meter was checked again, but that did not happen.

account: 34550-003 meter: 94833609 While our statement indicates we usually use between 1,000 and 2,000 gallons of water per month, our bill indicates we used 4,000 gallons in November and 7,000 gallons in December. meter no: 94833609 11/18-12/09 7000 gal 21 days 2 people We inspected our crawlspace for leaks or points of usage and our convinced there are none.

Our water usage volume has almost tripled in Jan, Feb and Mar of 2023 compared to Oct, Nov and Dec of 2022.From about 11K gallons to around 33K gallons per month. Something does not seem right. I believe our facilities manager did have a plumbing company look to see if they could find any issue but I don't believe they did. Can someone take a look at this issue? I am writing to bring your attention to an urgent matter regarding an unusually high water bill that I have received. My name is Kumar Vinayak, and I am a resident in the Bloomington area. I hope that you can assist me in resolving this issue promptly. Upon reviewing my recent bills, I have noticed a significant discrepancy in the water consumption. In the month of April, the recorded consumption was approximately 30 gallons, while in May, it unexpectedly increased to 35 gallons. These figures are undoubtedly incorrect, as such a volume of water cannot be reasonably consumed by a single individual. To address this concern, we immediately contacted our leasing office, as we suspected a possible emergency situation or water leakage within our house. They promptly responded by inspecting the property thoroughly but found no signs of any leaks or abnormal water usage. This observation leads us to believe that the issue may lie with the meter or its readings, as it seems to be continuously running even when the house is unoccupied. Given our status as students, it is financially burdensome for us to pay the exorbitant amount of approximately $1000 for water alone. This kind of billing discrepancy is highly abnormal, as it greatly surpasses our electricity bill, which amounts to approximately $100 per month. I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter and urge you to investigate the issue thoroughly. I have attached a copy of the bill for your reference. I believe it is essential to rectify this situation as soon as possible to avoid any further financial strain on our part.
