In the easement at the back of my property there is an old water meter. (I think it is abandoned and that it probably belonged to the house that also abuts the easement. It is full of clear water and this water is flowing out into my backyard and turning it into a swamp. I'm not sure what is going on, where the water is coming from, etc., but the fact that it is clear leads me to think that it is coming from the city's water mains. The lid was off of the meter when I found it. It may not show in the image, but it is full of water and, as you can see, the water is seeping out.

Help - Runoff backup issues! Insufficient runoff drainage on the East side of S. Meadowbrook Dr in Parkridge East between 111 S. Meadowbrook drive and the 101 S Meadowbrook Dr causing significant backups and flooding for residents. Particularly the runoff drainage ditch is blocking the culvert in front of 111 S. Meadowbrook. Picture attached. Request the drainage ditch be deepened in this area so that the culvert is unblocked and provides sufficient slope to keep water flowing toward E. Morningside runoff drainage.

Regarding ticket #168173 says it was resolved, but is not. issue remains. Need runoff dug to correct drop. From previous report "Insufficient runoff drainage on the East side of S. Water and debris continuously builds up on the west side of the street. The road slopes to the west side and there are no nearby stormwater drains. The closest drain is 1/2 block north on the opposite side of the street. This picture is directly in front of my house. The pavement at this site erodes due to all the standing water and debris and requires consistent patching. I have lived at this address for 16 years and this has been an ongoing problem. I have concerns this will only get worse as there is a new bus route starting in August which will be using this stretch of the road several times a day. I am told the road is to be resurfaced this summer however, without a proper drain system in place this will not resolve the problem. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Mr Kroener left a voice message yesterday indicating he owns the properties at 1306 and 1308 N Maple and they have a water problem. Runoff from the other development on the west side of the street crosses the street and floods their parking lot. He would like to make an appointment for me to come look at it.

We had a massive overflow of the drainage ditch next to our house after tonight's (2/20) storm. There must be some blockage at the end of the drain because water poured out of the ditch and basically covered our half of our backyard. The ditch either needs to be dug deeper and/or it needs to be cleared of debris in order to assure adequate drainage. We have photos for visual evidence but were unable to upload them through this website. Thank you for your attention to the matter.

Not sure this is city or homeowner issue. Pooling water in ROW. This is the downhill side of a driveway and instead of draining it fills up after each rain, since the roadside gutter has been filled in. There are other examples of this in Green Acres. Reporting it in case something can be done.

At the tree line behind my house and garage, there has been inches of water standing since around Thursday or Friday. I have lived here for 30 years and have never seen the water standing like this. I believe something has happened at the house behind the trees and draining down into my yard. The house had had issues of the homeless in and out of there and I am deeply concerned about the damage to my, and my neighbor's yards. Please advise

The southwest corner of 4th and Rogers intersection has terrible drainage and creates a giant puddle that makes it impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into inches of pooled water. The harder it rains, the worse it gets. The giant puddle doesn't go away quickly, either. Please fix this sidewalk.
