We have cleaned the tops of the grates in front of our building but can not clean the culvert in the ditch, which is clogged with debris. We also have one grate that has erosion barrier under the grate which won't allow water to pass through as it is packed with mud. We were flooded in 2008. We were within a foot of it entering our building early last Saturday morning. Please send someone to address this issue before Friday. We can not survive another flood.

Hello - I am the homeowner at 102 South Waldron St. here in Bloomington. This past Friday my basement flooded an excessive amount (3 feet) due to water buildup on Waldron Street. This has happened 4 times over the past 6 years I have lived here because the water has nowhere to go due to the flat area at the bottom of Waldron Street. I am requesting a storm drain be installed on Waldron Street just North of my house and in front of 100 South Waldron Street. My neighbors basement has also been severely flooded over the years due to water buildup from the street - the homeowners name is Simon Ladd. We both have sub pumps in our basements (I actually have 2) and it still doesn’t solve the flooding issue. I have spoken to Mr. Ladd and we both agree the best solution is for the city to install a storm drain. My number is 812-369-0765. the street storm drain behind the Von Lee building was clogged on Friday night and Saturday morning 6-18 to 6-19-21. This caused water to not flow into the drain and considerable damage to cars and property in the surrounding area. On Saturday morning at around 7:30am I was able to unclog the drain. At the time water was up to just below my knee which is about 20 inches. A car was abandon by the drain and later towed by a local towing company. My property which is 507 east Kirkwood Ave. sustained damage as well as the IU business lobby just east of the drain in the von lee building. This drain should be change to a more clog proof type. This has happened in the past and will in the future

As commonly done when the storm drain is cleaned they dump the debris into the yard which ends up killing the grass I was told that when they clean the drains they're supposed to take the debris with them. I'd appreciate it if they would I've been fighting keeping grass growing here and when the water goes fast if there's no grass growing it takes the topsoil. Thank you

Apartment C14 has not been able to flush my toilet in 3 weeks. Same as Apartment 18, & a couple others in the Kimble Dr. Apt Complex. Apt. C18 has a ceiling in his Bathroom that is literally leaking water so bad into his tub. His Bathroom is Literally not FEASABLE. Can Not Use! People was Moved In During May 2021 to Apartments that was not ready to be moved in what so ever. no stove in 1, No Fridge in 1 & the Central Air in My Buidling-Apartment is on the 3rd Floor Upstairs on the LEFT... Is Not working Nor has it been or been fixed even looked at. Amy Deckard has been liveing there for 3 weeks. I have bben there for 4 months & I have a small whole in my bathroom ceiling from a leak in the above apartment PLUS Yes My Toiulet Wilkl not Flush Unless I Plunge It almost Everytime 1st. That has not been fixed. ALL THIS HAS BEEN TURNED IN TO EMPLOYEES>>>MOTHING DONE! Place IS Very UNSAFE & NOT LIVEABLE. Dangers Will Come if My Name is Brought To Attention. NO HOME, & ETC.

The water fountain is leaking. Water is seeping out around the base of the fixture. Thank you for addressing the erosion to the north of the steps leading up to the shelter and park. Also, there are multiple areas of erosion around the park. Notable areas are to the east of the shelter and to the south of the sidewalk on the south side of the playground structure but there are presumably other bare areas prone to erosion due to their location on a hill or in a high traffic areas. To prevent long term damage to the structure of the park and not having the shelter area turn in to a muddy mess, please address these issues.

The southwest corner of 4th and Rogers intersection has terrible drainage and creates a giant puddle that makes it impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into inches of pooled water. The harder it rains, the worse it gets. The giant puddle doesn't go away quickly, either. Please fix this sidewalk.
