I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. Have been having ongoing issues with storm water running down Wilton St. from Arden Dr. and Hillside Dr. Was told Wilton St. was going to be repaved (about two years ago). Street patchwork has began washing out. Storm drains in front of her home were allegedly installed improperly. Has had minimal contact with Phil Peden, Utilities, but not satisfied with City's actions to date.

Ms. Aslami left a voice mail on 11/26/13. I returned her call on 11/27/13. She was difficult to understand but I believe she said she has water that comes up from their garage drain when it rains hard and she wants the city to fix it.

The street drain and field drain on Preston Ct does not appear to be able to properly handle large amounts of rain fall. It is common for both to become overwhelmed, especially the field drain in the back of 3807 Preston Ct. these drains need to be cleaned and inspected for proper sizing. Water flow out of field drain appears o be insufficient.

Hello, My home sits at the bottom of an incline where the water in the neighborhood drains onto our driveway and property. Every time it rains the water causes erosion on the property and flooding to our garage and yard. Not only is the un-directed water effecting us, but is also causing the road to erode where water is standing on the asphalt. As well as eroding neighbors propertys and driveway, which then end up in front of our home puddled in the street,(water,gravel,soil). A solution could be installing curbs and catchment drains in the surrounding area to better direct the water from causing more damage to ours and neighboring properties. Can you please look at the drainage on High Street in this area? The street is always covered in water with medium to heavy rains. It doesn't appear that there are enough drains on this area of the street. This has been a problem for years.

Water runoff is still an issue. I have reported this before and it is causing damage to my yard and basement. This area really needs a sidewalk or curb with storm drains.

There is no drainage system on Olive street just south of Hillside. Additionally, Ridgemont Ct runoff gathers here as well. Cars try to drive through wich causes waves to sending more water into the effected houses. 18" in the street. Years of neighbors and past residents call for help have garnered no response from the city.

She represents the Woolery Mills HOA. Indicated the resident at 2416 Woolery Mill Dr had water in their crawlspace last weekend. They checked and found a drain not functioning and didn't know if it was City responsibility. She emailed pictures.
