Due to the storm on Friday night we have a lot of run off rock and old concrete from the ditches above our house on Ruby and Covenanter. Since we are the last house where the ditches turn, we get all of the debris. Can someone from the city please come and clean up our ditch (with the truck that sucks up rocks, etc.)along Ruby and Covenanter? Our front lawn grass is full of rock and mud from the flow of water on Friday night. We don't want the city to dig up our grass...we would just like them to suck up the sand, rock and black top debris in our ditches and culverts. Thank you. Sincerely, Ingrid 1104 S. Covenanter Drive

We have noticed that our water quality has been pretty awful the past couple of weeks. It tastes like algae/moldy and smells. We have never noticed our water quality this bad since we have lived in Bloomington the past 12 years and are concerned that there is something dangerously bad with our drinking water. Can this please be checked as we have residents who have health issues and don't need them to be aggravated due to bad water. Thank you.

I am very concerned about this deliberate house burn at 1213 S. High Street. The burn is happening now as I write to you and I went outside to look at it and there is so much paint debris and soot on our property and on our house. It is covering our solar panels and I am seriously concerned about this as I am a two time cancer survivor and need to breathe this unnecessary toxic fumes. Will the city clean up this mess that the fire has caused on our property? I don't know why I should clean this mess that probably includes lead in the paint ans is unhealthy to breathe in. I decided to go inside so I don't have to breathe the toxic fumes regarding the burn. Who agreed to this burn that is happening in a very busy residential area? I thought the City Council and the mayor were very concerned about having Bloomington be green and thinking of the environment. This deliberate burn is not healthy for the atmosphere nor the residents who live nearby and have to breathe this toxic air. It just seems to be one thing after another that we have to deal with in regards to the city and their decision making and nothing favorable for us as city taxpayers. Hi, The trash collector seemed to be in a hurry today and there were 5 trashcans on their sides in our neighborhood...ours was one of them. We have asked you kindly to please not dump our trashcans on their sides while picking up the trash. They damage the trashcans as well as the driveway that we spent $1600 to black top. We find it very disrespectful of the trash collector to just throw around our trashcans after picking up the trash when he could so easily gently put them down so they stand up if he would slow down a little while doing his job. We have video cameras on our property and this gets caught on our video cameras. Do we need to start fining the city each time they damage our trashcan and driveway by throwing the trashcans on their side in our driveway? It is frustrating when we pay so much in property and city taxes to have our property damaged by the city.

We are sick and tired of the builder David Howard destroying our property and saying he will fix things and he never does. We have had to endure his horrible construction at 1110 S. Covenanter Drive for over two years now. He has damaged a garden block retainer wall and has said for over a year now that he would fix it. This is what he and his crew did to our front yard this morning. He said that we shouldn't worry because that is city property. Since the city will not install sidewalks in front of our house, we are the ones who are responsible for the maintenance on our grass and right now he has destroyed it and it looks like shit. We are sick and tired of dealing with him and having him promise to fix things that he destroys on our property. I have never dealt with such a crappy builder except Fatih Akin in 2012. Please advise what to do because this is unacceptable.

Hi, We know that this property has a new owner and was purchased earlier this year. Due to the storms on Friday night of last week...there is a lot of debris blocking the ditch and culvert. We are expecting rain again tomorrow and this weekend. Can the city contact the new owners to come and clean up their culvert and ditch along High street before the impending rains this weekend? This affects the whole neighborhood and will cause backups of water. Thank you.

I keep getting updates about #183310 which is a 5 month old ticket for a tree about to fall onto High Street. We couldn't wait five months for the city to reply to an email let alone remove a tree that was at a 45 degree angle and resting in the crook of a dead tree. It seemed like something that should be taken care of in the calendar year. Thankfully, Duke Power is very competent and professional and they took down the tree for you. Duke closed the ticket for you so you can close it on your end. Best, EO

The northwest corner of Nancy Street and Hillside Drive is overgrown in the city's right of way. It is currently unsafe for any cars heading/and turning south on Nancy Street onto Hillside Drive. Please trim the trees and bushes for a safer intersection for pedestrians, drivers, and passengers. Thank you.

The weeds are so overgrown at this address that it is really hard to see if you would like to turn from Nancy onto Hillside. This is a yearly problem.
