I have attempted to call several of the numbers listed on your website and have not had any success. I am trying to report a leak that needs to be addressed outside of our property located at 10047 Linden Ave. There are several valves under large metal plates that are overflowing into the street. We are requesting assistance with shutting them off and repairing them. We believe that those are water lines owned by the city. I would appreciate it if someone could contact me regarding this matter. I would appreciate any help you could provide.

While riding my bike on Weimer Rd.; I've noticed on two different occasions the strong smell of sewer gas. A Sewer gas smell to me means either there is effluent top side or there is an over flow into waterway. (Or I suppose something else) but there a definite issue. Exact location is post bridge on Weimer's south end heading toward Tapp Rd. It is also just past the mid point of bridge to Tapp Rd. points. Yes, I know there has been a lot of rain that contributes to these kind of issues, but being that the creek eventually "dumps" into Monroe Reservoir ( our drinking water) Thank you for looking into this. Our neighbors that live at the home on the NW corner of 11th & Lindbergh have water that flows from a spot near the sidewalk on Lindbergh and pools down at the intersection. This morning it was a strong flow. It pools and is causing issues at the end of the street & potholes are forming. It often smells like sewage. We have lived on Lindbergh since October 2018 and this became an issue in mid to late 2021. It did not always smell like sewer, but it has been more recently. We have noticed stronger flows more recently as well, whereas before it may have just been a trickle so we assumed it was stormwater from a sump pump or roof drain.

In January 2023, while an optic cable was being installed on our street, the company called Vertical Underground LLC, which we were informed was contracted by the City of Bloomington to do the job, broke our sewer line (along with the lines of many others of our neighbors). We complained to one of Vertical Underground's managers who was working on fixing our neighbor's line, and he informed us that they would fix the problem and that we didn't need to worry. In order to do the repair, they had to break through our concrete driveway to repair the damage and re-pour the damaged section of the driveway. The problem seemed to be fixed for a few months, however, these past weeks, we have been experiencing the same issues that initially led us to the discovery of the damage they caused. That is, our drains are not draining, toilets are not draining and water is returning through the shower drain. We would like to request that CBU send someone to inspect the situation because we believe that the problem was not fixed properly. Thank you.
