water is coming down the curb line and then turning down the driveway and causing water damage on the property.
Ms Novakovski came in 4/9/14 and asked for some advice on dealing with water in her crawl space.
I called you a month ago to report a water leaking close to our house (3705 S Fenway Pl, 47401). It seems no action has been taken and the problem is getting worse. Water is leaking from somewhere beneath our lawn next to Elliston Drive, trickling down the street. Is there any problem with the city water pipes?
There is a small, cylindrical fire hydrant on the SW corner of my neighbor's front yard. The hydrant is across the cul du sac from my home at 1810 Longwood Court East. It appears to me that this hydrant is leaking or cracked. There is water seeping into my neighbor's front ditch, then under the street and out the end of the cul du sac, causing much more erosion than normal. It probably needs to be repaired.
Received this complaint information from Angie Grubb. She said this gentleman called on 6/4/14 to complain about runoff. He just bought the house and there is a swale that takes runoff from Maxwell Terrace but his neighbor put bricks in the swale causing the water to run onto his property. Is this legal?
Mr. Gary Verostko of 1015 S. Ballantine called concerning standing water behind Deer Park near Highland Ave and Tarzian Lane. He stated that the mosquitoes were as bad as he has ever seen in Bloomington.
Mrs. Berzins of 1509 S. Huntington called 6-9-14 concerning standing water/mosquitoes, and heavy run-off during strong rain events
Mr Garner called to report standing water and erosion in the creek behind his house. He said the culverts under the road are about 8" higher than the ground so water stands here. He thinks it needs to be filled in and more rock added.
Lisa left a voice message indicating Jaymar is the property manager for Sunflower Gardens HOA, just south of Summit Elementary School. They have a drainage ditch that's concrete and runs through their subdivision and with the bigger rains, it is spilling over and it happens so consistently. She wants the city to revisit it because when the subdivision was built it was part of the engineering process to figure out the size of the drainage ditch to be constructed. Linda Thompson in Planning told her to get with me or Phil because the water is spilling out and not contained by the ditch.
