Foster went to License Branch, Tuesday, May 12 & while there questioned license branch procedure. Employee he questioned called Police, and BPD officer asked Foster to lv and not return. Foster claims he is not unreasonable and wants to know why license branch employee's word was taken over his. He is going out of town tomorrow & can't get his license plates.

Said they asked the driver to pull over so they could get past and he "rudely refused" and they had to sit there for 15 minutes waiting. Says if there's traffic, drivers should pull over to the side and not block the street.
A certain Transit driver continues to smoke on the bus. Mr. Schaad has informed Transit about this for a year yet the driver continues to smoke on the bus. Mr. Schaad is allergic to cigarette smoke.
Caller has tried to reach someone at animal shelter for 3 days. Is disgusted with phone system that won't allow him to talk to anyone. (I asked if he left a message--he had not.) He found an animal which he asked shelter to pick up and now he wants to adopt animal but can't reach shelter.) He also feels personnel are rude to him. Ms. Robertson complained of overwhelming reluctance and poor response by the animal control officer she spoke with. She called the animal shelter after a Mastiff dog tried to attack her. The man she spoke with said he would rather not come and help her since there wasn't anything he could do if she hadn't already been attacked by the dog and instead suggested she use a broom to fend off the dog.

Kathy has two children in tennis lessons. Babysitter transports children to lessons (20 min. drive). On two different occasions she called the hotline and was told the lessons were on. When they arrived, the lessons had been cancelled. Also, children were given "verbal" notice of a makeup practice. Would appreciate a written note.
