Response to case 204377 overgrown weeds and weeds along the curb is taking over the sidewalk. The sidewalk is hard to walk on with the overgrowth and school starts Wednesday so it's not a safe area for kids to walk on.
On the north side of E Wylie Farm Rd between S Bayberry Dr and S Azalea Lane there is a wooden walkway within the 50' right-of-way that is very overgrown with Trees of Heaven and a lot of other plants. It is to the point where people are breaking off the tops of the trees in order to get through that part of the walkway. These are invasive plants and the City should do a better job at eliminating them or at least cutting them back. The Google streetview photo of that location dated July 2023 is attached along with current photos that show how the trees and other plants are taking over the walkway and that the tops of some of the trees have been broken off so that pedestrians can pass here. Please clear the area along this side of E Wylie Farm Rd as soon as possible. Thank you.

There are no signs on Coolidge or Brown streets by the Broadview Learning Center and Bloomington Graduation School building indicating it is a school or reducing speed limits. BGS is an alternative high school in MCCSC, but the students are entitled to the same protections as any traditional high school. Please remedy this inequity.
There is a pole/light at this stop that has metal bands wrapped in two spots for a trash can to be attached. Although the trash can is not attached and sits beside the pole, that is not the problem. Today, one of the metal bands (which sticks out at the end of its seal point) sliced my leg open. Luckily I had a first aid kit, but that is dangerous.
Large dog park at Switchyard. You guys were so responsive to my recent report, I thought I would send you another one. You have at least 5 broken sprinkler heads that are leaking water. See attached file. I didn't walk the whole park. There may be others between the big hill and sun shade area. Otherwise park is great (once the mud hole is filled in)! Us dog owners love it. I live at 1009 S. Lincoln St., and running in a perpendicular line to the street from our water access, at the house edge of the sidewalk, there's a big hole. It seems to go below the sidewalk a little. I'm not sure if I should just fill it in, or if it is indicative of a larger problem that should be addressed. I'd love a little guidance from the experts! Thanks!
The building light on the LEFT side of the North entrance to City Hall is on the fritz, the left side as you face the doors from Morton.
Flooding/Standing water accumulates between the street and our fence. Looks like this may be part of the easement. This photo was taken in January, but it is a continuous issue whenever it rains. Can you please contact me to discuss this? Thank you!
Items left in alley — there is a suitcase and some trash bags that appear to be someone’s possessions in the alley that runs East-West between E 15th and E 16 th Street (N Walnut and Washington are the cross streets.
