The neighborhood has insufficient street drainage for runoff, and this has threatened to flood my home again after yesterday’s rain. It already flooded with extensive damage in 2021, simply because the developers have inadequately accounted for the necessary drainage. I have documented the issue with the ONE drain on the downward slope of the street, where the water pools, meeting my front door, and even moving four parked cars. I would appreciate the benefit of your expertise regarding this matter as soon as is feasible for you. I have also contacted my homeowner’s association for assistance. Thank you!

We are experiencing a major storm water runoff problem on our property. It has become so bad that our driveway collapsed. We have also lost some trees and fear losing additional trees. In addition, a lot of trash is accompanies that large volume of water and settles on our property in what is now a muddy swamp. I think we need to work with the churches to the east of us who have huge parking lots to address the water runoff problem that is becoming worse all the time. The street drain and field drain on Preston Ct does not appear to be able to properly handle large amounts of rain fall. It is common for both to become overwhelmed, especially the field drain in the back of 3807 Preston Ct. these drains need to be cleaned and inspected for proper sizing. Water flow out of field drain appears o be insufficient.

the water came up to my foundation again.. Last year I was awarded a grant from the city and as you can see that has not worked. I am inches from the water from cascades flooding my basement. Im sorry for second emailing but I did not realize how th system worked. thank you.

I live at 3515 E Grandview Dr, Bloomington 47408. I have had drainage issues for a number of years where runoff during heavy storms causes flooding in my garage. Since the street was repaved last year my garage has flooded multiple time damaging my walls and equipment. I tried to dig a relief drainage ditch in the easement but the problem requires a complete re-digging of the ditch that over the years has filled with clippings and soil. The drain running under my driveway along the street is completely clogged with roots and debris. In addition, my water main broke over the winter and the city left a massive pile of gravel in the hole where the repair occurred mak8nh an eyesore as well as causing more drainage problems. I need this looked at as soon as possible since the flooding is getting worse, although the relief ditch has helped some.

There is a large water main break outside of 407 E Varsity Lane in Bloomington IN, Water is pouring up from the sidewalk and causing a stream to run down the side of the house. Needs urgent care. Likely shutoff.
