The northwest corner of our yard has been inundated with water for the past several weeks. There is standing water as well as super-saturated ground. The water appears to originate from the utility strip between properties toward Clover. This does not appear to be related to rain or storm events. The water drains to the south, but the amount present doesn't lessen. This makes us think there is a leak in either a water main or a storm drain or another source. The saturation leads to worries about the mature trees along the property line coming over. The ground is boggy and one cannot walk or mow in this area. Your attention to this will be appreciated.

Hello, I reported water coming into our yard before.(uReport Case #177856) Your answer was that it was probably coming from neighbor's pool. That pool is to the southwest and they do indeed drain it into the yard, but it is not the source of water coming from uphill, close to properties on Clover on the northwest side of the yard. The water comes from somewhere close to 400 Clover Lane. As the property line and utility easement are wooded and covered with vegetation it is difficult to tell where the water originates, but it is clearly outside of our yard. A resident called about runoff "behind the AT&T store on Willis." He said that he attempted to call utilities about it multiple times but the woman answering the phones was not helpful and claimed that it was the OOTM's oversight and not theirs. He did not want to leave his name or contact information with us. I'm not sure what the process looks like for this, but if someone could check on the water runoff in this area, I think it would be helpful. We have received a few emails about it as well.

She left a voice mail indicating her parents live at this address and have had problems with water damage and drainage for the last couple years. Water comes off neighbor's driveway and across road and down their driveway. She has pictures. She said she and her brother will be in town next week and want to try a resolve this issue. She wanted to know if she could send me pics, have someone look at it and let her know if it might be an issue with the road slope or if it's a private home issue. And if it is a private home issue, who she could call to help her fix it next week. She said she teaches so can't answer the phone but asked me to text her an email address so she could send the photos.

Excess water seems to be coming out of my drains at the street, even days after it has rained. My water bill was high last month, and I thought it was for other reasons. Now I am worried that there is a leak.

Storm sewers are blocked by debris on the streets causing water backup on the road. The street needs to be cleaned and debris removed from storm grates.

There is water constantly flowing out of the ground on the alley east of 213 E. Cottage Grove about 40 feet north of the street. The water is bubbling up and flowing south to the street then flowing east to Lincoln. When it was cold recently a glacier formed there that was dangerous to walk or drive on. It i now getting swampy there - still dangerous but in a different way. Both City Utilities and property owner were notified, but it is not clear if anyone has determined where the water is coming from. Good to check the meters in the area, e.g., 701 N. Lincoln, 700 N. Washington, 706 N. Washington for any unexpectedly high usage.

The southwest corner of 4th and Rogers intersection has terrible drainage and creates a giant puddle that makes it impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into inches of pooled water. The harder it rains, the worse it gets. The giant puddle doesn't go away quickly, either. Please fix this sidewalk.

At the tree line behind my house and garage, there has been inches of water standing since around Thursday or Friday. I have lived here for 30 years and have never seen the water standing like this. I believe something has happened at the house behind the trees and draining down into my yard. The house had had issues of the homeless in and out of there and I am deeply concerned about the damage to my, and my neighbor's yards. Please advise
