Customer concerned about two things on new billing format. When they are an aqua-pay customer it says balance due $0.00 but under that says the amount being debited from their account. Customer says it is confusing. Also said a phone number to call should be on the bill.
SCOTT PATE CALLED AND TALKED TO CUSTOMER SERV. DEPT. SEVERAL TIMES. HE WANTED TO PROTEST LARGE BILL FOR HIS RESIDENCE. HE STATES THAT HE LIVES ALONE AND FEELS THAT THE WATER USAGE FOR 1 MONTH IS TOO LARGE AND THAT HE CANNOT FIND A LEAK.
Customer does not feel her water bill could be $68.76 for 1 month. She would like her account reviewed by USB Subcommittee.
My water bill seems abnormally high (2-3 times higher than any bill I've received the last few years). I saw the article in the Herald Times concerning residences on the south side who were billed incorrectly, which appears to be my case. Hi, My water connection was cut off because I lost my card and couldn't make payment. I'm charged some$90 fee for this. I've been and to pay my bill today. I'm already going through depression. I'm an international student at IU.I request the department to please waive this fee. I'll make sure it never happens again.
I have moved from this address. I canceled service on 11/3/22 with Confirmation ID: 194967-2493. The last payment I made was 12/6/22. However, I just received a bill for 1/1/22 to 1/31/22 (yes, the bill says 2022, not 2023) on this address. I do not think I owe the money on this bill and now would like to question if I did owe the money that I paid back on 12/6/22. My new address is 5696 S Handy Road, for reference. Thank you for your help.
Gary Coonce called re. his account that is in his wife's name - Katherine Coonce - at 1313 Hickory Grove Lane. Mr. Coonce has experienced high bills. He feels his sewer bill should not be double the amount of his water bill. Mr. Coonce stated that he or his wife will appear at the USB meeting on 1/20/98 to state his complaint at that time.
CUSTOMER CONCERNED BECAUSE THEY HAVE EAST MONROE AND ARE ON OUR SEWER SYSTEM. THINKS SINCE WE DON'T METER WHAT GOES INTO THE SEWER WE REALLY CAN'T BILL THEM CORRECTLY. FEELS LIKE THEY ARE BEING OVERCHARGED. I EXPLAINED THE FLAT RATE TO HIM IT DIDN'T SEEM TO HELP ANY.
Olympus prop. received large bill ($394.52) for former tenant (C. Stone Chadwick) at 1355 N. Lincoln. They do not feel they should be held responsible for former tenant's bill when they were not notified of delinquent account.
