The Bloomington Community Farmers' Market opens April 6, and takes place rain or shine every Saturday at Showers Common next to City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington.
April-September: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
October: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
November: 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Switchyard Park, 1601 S. Rogers St., Pavilion
Nestled in picturesque downtown charm and, in 2024, celebrating its 50th anniversary, the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market is a vital part of the local food culture. Plan to take part in special commemorative events that will recognize the market's founders and special advocates.
Market goers can expect to find a wide assortment of goods from the farm and field, including fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and cheeses, honey, seasonal flowers, and annual and perennial plants. Food and beverage artisans provide a tasteful variety of satisfying breads, drinks, pastries, and savory dishes. This weekly gathering provides individuals the opportunity to connect with their community in meaningful ways while supporting small farmers and businesses.

The Tuesday Market opens at Switchyard Park for the 2024 season on June 4.
Youth Day at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market
Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Fernandez Plaza in front of City Hall

Young farmers, artists, growers and entrepreneurs ages 6-17 yrs. get their own 9' x 6' booth space during this special day for youth at the Market. Youth keep all their profits as they experience a day of running their own stands. The Market will host other youth-oriented activities and youth-led entertainment on this day too!

Dinner with the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market
Saturday, July 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Switchyard Park
$75/person · Register by 7/12.
Connect to the origins of your food and celebrate the hardworking people who grow and prepare it! Enjoy live music, delicious appetizers and guest interactions before dinner is served. Dinner is served family style on one long table with individual place settings. The evening's menu and cooking services are provided by Chef Corbin Morwick from One World Catering. Corbin is an award-winning, self-taught chef who strives to provide fresh, innovative menus utilizing locally sourced ingredients. When possible, ingredients for the From Farm to Table Dinner are sourced from Bloomington Community Farmers' Market vendors. One alcoholic drink ticket is provided to all guests over the age of 21 yrs. Cash bar available.
