The tennis courts at Winslow Sports Complex are scheduled for an upgrade in 2024. Cassady Electric will remove the existing tennis court lights and install 24 new 34,500 lumen LED bulbs along with a digital time clock to allow lights to come on only during specific times, and a digital timer that will allow each tennis court to work independently and for a timed duration. Work is scheduled to be complete the end of 2024.
Located south of the YMCA of Monroe County Southeast, and east of Winslow Woods Park and Willie Streeter Community Garden, the 36.5-acre Winslow Sports Complex includes softball and baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a paved perimeter trail, and soccer fields.
Parking
Asphalt parking lot with 342 vehicle spaces + 8 designated accessible vehicle spaces. The parking lot serves visitors to the fitness station located just inside the park entrance off South Highland Avenue, the paved perimeter trail, the softball diamonds on the north side of the park, the soccer and baseball fields on the south side of the park, and the tennis courts on the east side of the park.
Restrooms / Drinking Water
All-gender restroom, open daily from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. from April 1-Oct. 1 is located on the south side of the parking lot between the baseball field and soccer field, approximately 120' from the nearest designated accessible parking space on asphalt parking lot and concrete sidewalk. A drinking fountain, available seasonally, is located on the south side of the restroom building. An additional drinking fountain is located between the tennis courts on the east side of the park.
Bus Line
Bloomington Transit #4 stops at South Highland Avenue & East Short Street, with access to Winslow Woods Park via .25 mile paved sidepath east of South Highland Avenue. Bloomington Transit #4 also stops at the YMCA of Monroe County Southeast, with access to Winslow Woods Park via .20 mile paved sidepath to and across South Highland Avenue.
Playground
A playground is located inside the fenced softball field area on the north side of the parking lot.
Fun Things to Do
- Athletic Fields- Winslow Sports Complex has four 200' fenced ballfields with lights, one senior baseball fields with lights, and one grass playfield with lights. For reservation information, email Cody Martin or call 812-349-3774.

- Tennis Courts - six tennis courts available for public play.
- Trail- Asphalt surface, one-mile trail loop trail circles the park. Access the trail at the entrance to Winslow Sports Complex, or from the south parking lot of the YMCA.
- Don Martin Fitness Station- purchased in memory of Don Martin by the Bob & Fran Martin Family in 2018. Fitness stations are located along the trail near the park's entrance.

History
The land was acquired from the Winslow family in 1966. Additional property was acquired in 1974, 1977, and 1979.
Land and Water Conservation Fund
Park improvements in Winslow Sports Complex were partially funded in 1975 by the Land and Water Conservation Fund through the U.S. Department of Interior and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
