Neighbor continues to let trash and debris lay in his yard; now, instead of being all over the porch and inside, it’s now just sitting there way out in the open. The person he has working on this doesn’t seem to be doing a lot but sitting in his car and playing on his phone. I know because I was at home all day long and barely saw him in or around the house.

the pavement on Dodds right where it goes over the B-line trail is like riding a roller coasters everyday. many potholes and uneven pavement makes it the bumpiest part of bloomington. now I typically enjoy roller coasters- however! this one is not welcome. I thought it was my rlly old dinky car's fault almost falling apart going over this section of the road- NO lol. I got a new car- same stuff. it could give a newborn shaken baby syndrome i swear
This detour sign has been in front of my house for weeks. Due to the ineffective base, it has constantly been falling over. I have tried various things. The arrow came off a while ago. A person from the engineering office came out to look over the situation over 10 days ago and he decided to put it face down and said that he would contact the contractors responsible. I haven’t heard from anyone since. Before I tried to place the sign upright a couple days ago, I was moving the sign which was flat from place to place in my yard so the grass didn’t die under it. What you see is the longest the sign has stayed in one place. This is not the only sign around my neighborhood that has not stayed up - I’ve seen at least 3, and my neighbor who walks everywhere has seen them on sidewalks.
Full bag of trash busted open in the curb.
Giant sinkhole in the road by the building at 822 W. 1st St. It has gotten significantly bigger in the past few months. Easily over 5 feet deep and extends across more than half the road underneath. It is on an access road that an ambulance uses.
The alley is concrete and is VERY damaged. Utility lines run down this alley as well as all residents garages. Tripping is a problem as the ground is very bad and it was patched with asphalt instead of properly correcting and replacing. This is not owned by homeowners and needs replacing completely especially on the highland ave side.
The historic sidewalk in front of 610 W 3rd St. has one limestone 'tile' that is so sunken/broken that a person was knocked out of his electric wheelchair yesterday and lost his wallet down into the storm drain. He was not terribly harmed, though he was stressed about the possibility of abandoning his wallet 'till the morning when the City could come but luckily I was able to retrieve the wallet. The sidewalk needs to be repaired (even just that low spot) immediately. Thanks, Jaclyn
