Hello. I am the property manager for Tamarron HOA. There is a cross walk to Univeristy Elementary School from Tamarron. We are having issues with speeding vehicles and children crossing the street. At the HOA board meeting tonight it was suggested putting a three way stop sign at the intersection of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive to at least slow the traffic down. Who do we contact about this? One Board member brought up if there is a stop sign on the north end of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive, it will re-route cars down the south side of Tamarron so maybe installing two stop signs at each end of Callery Drive and Tamarron Drive. As a resident on the east side of Bloomington, I often find myself on 10th street because it is a main artery through town. I've always wondered why there isn't a designated left turn lane with a left arrow traffic light to help the traffic flow at the intersection at 10th and Pete Ellis. The designated lanes are as follows. Left turn/Straight and a right turn lane. People who turn left aren't able to do so easily because it's a busy street and people who wait behind them are forced to try to re-enter the traffic flow because other cars decide to use the right turn lane to go straight. Unless I'm mistaken, creating your own lane of traffic is frowned upon, so I'm constantly frustrated by the fact that I sit patiently in the left/straight lane behind a car waiting to turn, and then as I'm entering the intersection, have to watch out (yielding to cars that have decided to go around the situation) to avoid getting sideswiped. Perhaps the city developers could look at this particular problem and re-designate the lanes or use resources to get a new light with a left turn arrow. I can't be the first person to have complained about the safety of this intersection.

Hello! I live just off of the intersection of 5th Street and Bryan Avenue, right next to the IU Raintree House. I've noticed that one of the stop signs at the four way stop is missing, the post and all. I've seen people driving right through without stopping, and then realized that the sign was completely gone. It is the stop sign on the north east side of the intersection. Just wanted to let somebody know. Thank you for your help!

In the alley adjacent to Bloomington Center for Global Children at 1111 North Walnut Street, traffic often travels both ways. As a parent who picks up a young child there, I am keenly aware of the danger presented by a two way alley adjacent to a child care center. I am requesting that this alley be made one way with traffic control as well, as the traffic traveling north on Walnut street presents another danger to those individuals turning west into the alley next to the center.

Please install traffic lights at Hillside and Highland. At times, it takes forever to be able to turn westbound onto Hillside from Highland because traffic is oftentimes constant. This is a dangerous crossing, and there are many residents and YMCA traffic coming through here.

Please install a traffic light at Winslow and Highland. At times, it takes forever to turn onto Winslow from Highland. Overall, it is a dangerous crossing because cars cannot see each other when cars are approaching east bound on Highland because there is a hill that blocks all view--they can't see and people turning off of Highland can't see.

I'm the Lead Supervisor at IU Campus Bus Service. I just talked to all of our supervisors, and we have all experienced close calls with the pedestrian crossing at 17th and Jordan at night. Please consider installing more lighting at this intersection to avoid future pedestrian injuries in these new crosswalks.
