When the curb between the bike lane and car lane was reconstructed gaps were left in the pavement. Generally the pavement repair was not done to the standard usually expected of Bloomington roads.
Multiple potholes in this stretch of Lincoln, ranging from the size of a tea plate to a dinner plate. Bikers in the bike lane have to enter the car lane to avoid them. The road is also covered in gravel and debris from construction on a nearby apartment.

I had sent in a request on 5/19/25 Case #202787 reporting that Olive Street needs a concrete curb installed. Due to the excessive rainfall this has caused flooding issues for 1502 S. Olive and the house on the corner of Hillside and Olive (1144 E. Hillside Dr.). I was informed that this was on the paving list and there was plans for an asphalt curb. I called on 6/9/25 and spoke to the Engineering dept. (Iris) about installing a concrete curb instead of asphalt. There is already a partial concrete curb that runs past 1502. It needs to have a concrete curb all the way up the hill so that rain will not flood into the driveway and along the house of 1502, plus it runs past the curb into the yard of 1144 E. Hillside causing flooding in the basement. They have a sump pump now, but it's old and could quit at any time. It's already August and there hasn't been any kind of activity on this street. Do you have an estimated date as to when the street will be paved and the curb installed? Also, there is a construction sign in the yard of 1144 E. Hillside that has been there all summer and would like it to be moved. Thank you for any information you can provide!
There is a huge hole in the road thats not covered up and there is no signage indicating that there is a hole, it looks to be made from the construction. It popped my tire.
There is a huge pothole in the Monroe Convention Center auxiliary parking lot, just west of the b-line trail, and just north of the paved road that connects the two parking lots. Hello, I am contacting you guys because I would like to request a health inspection at my apartment complex The Quarters Bloomington located at 1521 Isaac Dr, Bloomington, IN 47403. They have had mold grow all on the sides of 2 parking garages and it has been like that for over 2 months. The mold seems to be spreading more. They have severe water damage that doesn’t seem to be taken care of. I had a mold issue in my apartment that they didn’t prioritize which left me to clean it myself. Other residents have also had mold on their balcony door and bathroom ceiling which was like that when they moved in. The vents seem to be leaking water and it doesn’t seem like it’s an issue they are eager to fix. I am hoping that you guys are able to do a health inspection because I find myself constantly having sinus issues since moving there. Thank you!
