I would like to request sidewalks/speed bumps on Elliston Dr. in Sherwood Oaks Neighborhood. Elliston is the main thourough fair to Sherwood Oaks Park, Jackson Creek Trail and Olcott Park, which also leads to Childs Elementary and Jackson Creek Middle School. There is significant foot traffic daily of adults, kids and pets being walked. Children go to school on this route and yet there is nothing provided to keep them safe. There are currently no sidewalks to keep foot traffic safe and no speed bumps to slow down traffic. People speed through this area whether local traffic or visitors to the park and what the city has done to date is not enough. Someone is going to get hurt and it will be on the onus of those who have chose to do nothing to keep pedestrians safe. Please consider making a change and putting sidewalks/speed bumps in to allow for safe travels for all in this area. Thank you

Spring has started and the outdoor smoke coming from the Barbecue is in full force at the Short Stop food-mart on North Smith Road. My wife and I had three meetings with the City Council about this issue in 2015. And 2 recorded meetings with the council as a whole and a second meeting a few weeks later. The smoke issue was to be addressed for this location. But Chris Smith sold the store without implementing the standards the City Council had requested he perform. He was supposed to install and indoor smoker by December of (2015) that never happened. And he then sold the business in spring of 2016. As an example of how bad this smoke is. I hung wet laundry outside yesterday (Wednesday 4-25-18). Hoping for that nice fresh air smell when it was dry. Our clothing smelled like we had been next to a campfire. So I had to rewash all of the clothing. This has become a HUMAN HEALTH hazard and it has not been taken seriously. The city did nothing after our meetings to address SMOKE issues from cooking outdoors. I really hate to call the Fire department each time I smell smoke. As the cost to the city will be ridiculous for putting out (3) outdoor smokers. But that is what I am going to start doing. As we cannot breath. She had a lung removed and everyone is turning a blind eye towards this fact. Let me know what the city can do. Our district representative Allison Chopra was at the meetings as she was running for office and won the election. But I was told she had slept since the meetings and did not remember the restrictions placed on the smoke issue. If necessary I can send you the link to the videos of the meetings and what was proposed. Thank You.

Since the crosswalks have been placed, with the school sign looking very similar from behind when heading South, it gives the impression there is a stop sign. I have been here for a year and watched 3 car accidents. The company, who is my landlord, has been there for 35+ years and said since the crosswalks, there have been 3 accidents and several close calls. I am a social worker, who works with kids. I don’t know why there is one 4 way at the sign, but not at the other end, on 8th street, that is within school/church grounds. Please bring attention to this urgently, I have a feeling something bad will happen to a child if something isn’t done here and will be saving this documentation for myself, so if something does happen, I am not liable and this is all screenshot, so you are aware and this could be held liable in court proceedings if nothing is done.

Earlier this month I witnessed a driver continue straight east on Atwater thru the intersection with Mitchell- straight into the opposing lane. This was at night and they made it several blocks before seeing oncoming traffic and moving over. I was there in the daylight today 10/22 and the exact same thing happened and they drove the wrong way from Mitchell to Arbutus. For the left turn lane from E Atwater going north onto Mitchell, could we please add a curb/ reflective bollards or a similar quick build solution here to prevent confusion? I work in the leasing office at Atlas on 17th (1439 N Telluride St). Several residents have submitted complaints regarding the streetlights of our property not being on a night, which has concerned many for their safety and security. We have confirmed reports of there being no streetlights on for roads N Telluride St. and W Aurora Dr. The other streets on our property include W Redlands Dr, W Vail St, N Denver Rd, and N Arvada Rd.

Stoplight crossing Allen is remaining on red, while the lights crossing Patterson are going through a semi-normal cycle (shifts to red and then right to green almost immediately).
