Note location should be Winslow Farm Community Association storm water retention pond (DO NOT contact this home address). Note: I live at 414 E Wylie Farm road. My question is should soil erosion in Winslow forest be abated since we have a lot of soil in our storm water detention pond that seems to highly likely have come from Winslow woods (accumulated since WFCA pond was constructed in 1995).
Ms Adams left a voice message saying some work was done with the drainage ditches on her street this morning in the neighbor's ditch and also some asphalt paving was done right in front of her driveway and it's going to move a lot of water down her drive. She wants to get another drainage grate or a culvert or something at the corner of Pickwick. She said her property and the property next to her have spent thousands of dollars to manage the water that comes through their property and the city has been using their properties as drainage. The work they did on the street is going to put tons of water to the drain in front of their garage but it won't handle it all now. She is petitioning to see what they can do to get a storm grate put in.

We had a massive overflow of the drainage ditch next to our house after tonight's (2/20) storm. There must be some blockage at the end of the drain because water poured out of the ditch and basically covered our half of our backyard. The ditch either needs to be dug deeper and/or it needs to be cleared of debris in order to assure adequate drainage. We have photos for visual evidence but were unable to upload them through this website. Thank you for your attention to the matter.
Storm drain at walnut st pike and heather drive not picking up water runoff coming down the hill from south. Runoff deposits large amounts of gravel in the turn lane to heather dr. Reported this several months ago. Drain pipe going a cross the road was cleaned. Real problem is that drain on walnut pike does not catch the water, it swirls by the drain and turns into heather and goes down that drain. Slowing for the turn allows gravel to be deposited in the road. Makes a potentially dangerous turn for cars slowing to turn. Especially when it "ices" up.
We live at the bottom of a hill and there is no storm drain on our road at all. As a result, we get all the water runoff from Adams and connecting roads directly into our yard. We would like a drain put into our block. Additionally, we have had major flooding in our back yard from the open water ditch that runs next to our house (we have already reported this once). There is an inordinate amount of water that comes off 2nd St in a big drain pipe and into the backyards. Her neighbor enclosed a drainage swale and the pipe is not deep enough and now pushes water onto a different location on her property. She said a guy from the City came out before and said what her neighbor did on his property was wrong and changed things. She has hired a contractor to try and fix her property so it doesn't go in her crawl space but wants the city to look at it because she isn't sure she can do these things and isn't sure she is responsible.
