The Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington- Lincoln St Unit has smelled like sewer gas for the last month. There is standing water in the sewers outside of the building. It is very difficult to run a full day of program when my staff and our members have to deal with the strong smell of sewage.
I sent a ureport to you 7-17 before receiving this estimate from roto rooter. It appears they will need to reroute the later to city main sewer and will be cutting the city street as well as backfill per code. Is this something you can help me with?
I have plumbers at my house now doing extensive digging to resolve a backup in the main sewer line. They believe the blockage is within city jurisdiction. We have had sewage spewing into our shower and the toilet won't flush the last 24 hours
My sewer has been backing up in my basement for several weeks. Roto Rooter came out to identify the problem. They found that my line is "party line" and is attached to my neighbor's line. The lines meet in his driveway and my line crosses through his front yard (see photos). Our houses were built in 1962. I know talking to the plumbers that this is illegal. To make it better, my neighbor is deceased (died in November) and the house is a foreclosure. No family is wanting responsibility for the house. We tried to call the bank to see what to do. The driveway and front yard will need to be dug up to move and replace the pipe. Who can I speak to to discuss how to proceed with this and (honestly) who will help pay for it?
My house is at 2308 E Linden Hill Drive in the Stands. In the open area behind my house, which borders on the Stands Drive there is a manhole labelled "sanitary sewer". Nearby that manhole there are 3 or 4 apparent sink holes (one about 18 inches deep) that seem to have formed recently. They may have no connection with the sewer system, but I suggest that they be checked out to make certain that there is not a leak of some kind, that could cause more damage. Our shower has flooded with water and fecal matter twice in the past two days.
The sewage is backing up in the laundry room of my apartment. I contacted the landlord and he said it is a city issue of overflowing pipes from rain.
This is just between 1000 and 1006 W Countryside Lane, and is just big enough to have caught my grandaughter's foot in yesterday when it was covered with leaves. Please repair within 48 hours or I am contacting an attorney for help resolving the issue.
