Ms Underwood left a voice message for me on Friday 6/27/14 saying she was calling about the brick streets at 8th and Park and the sewer line that currently goes under the street.
Mr Foster left a voice message yesterday. He said it has to do with a manifestation of water in his basement/crawl space. It is not coming in from the walls and it comes and goes. He had his water lines changed thinking that was the problem but still occurs. The area becomes muddy and now there's some mold as well. He wants advice on what he can do.
Mr Pilachowski left a voice message on 7/24/14 indicating he had been forwarded by the Planning Dept. He was trying to find out if there is anything that regulates where drainage from downspouts on SFR can be directed.
Ms Glushko left a voice message yesterday about a drain issue.
Mr Kroener left a voice message yesterday indicating he owns the properties at 1306 and 1308 N Maple and they have a water problem. Runoff from the other development on the west side of the street crosses the street and floods their parking lot. He would like to make an appointment for me to come look at it.
Ms Kim left a voice message this morning. I returned her call this afternoon and she explained she is concerned with the runoff in their back yard. Their neighbor put logs along their back yard and it pushes the runoff over into her back yard. She wants to know if they can do this. I told her this is probably an issue between the neighbors but I would be happy to come out and look at it.
This was originally a trouble report left on T&D voice mail on 5/22/14. I visited the site on 5/23 and met with her husband. They have had storm water problems since they moved into the house in 1999. During heavy rain storms, the water flows over the drive and into the garage. They have tried different things and currently have to keep sand bags in front of the garage door but the water still sometimes goes over them.
The fire hydrant on Jordan, between the Delta Gamma house and the parking garage has been open, pouring water into the street all weekend and is still doing so. This is a gross waste of the city's clean water.
I received this email from Rachel Atz while I was on vacation: "I just spoke with a lady about our dead-end flushing program and she also included that she is having some issues with drainage behind her house and wanted to talk to someone about what she could do to improve it. She said she was willing to pay for it to be fixed, but didn't know what the best solution would be or if she even owned the property/was responsible for it. I told her I would pass the information on to our engineering department and someone would call her to discuss further. Unfortunately, I did not get her name. Her address is 4629 E. Mr. Kittridge left a voice message on 9/2/14. He is the treasurer of the Peppergrass Homeowners Assoc. and wants me to meet with him to discuss a problem w/storm drainage in Peppergrass that relates to the city employees believing that the storm drainage facilities in Peppergrass are privately-owned. He says that is incorrect and that he has documentation showing they were taken over by the city back in the 80's & 90's as part of the annexations of that area into the city. He needs someone who can help resolve that issue so they can get some stormwater drainage system problems repaired.
