Hi, The stormwater drains in this neighborhood are no longer able to process light rain. Since the Echo Park subdivision was built, we have noticed an increase in the amount of water collecting near the drains. Historically, the drains have not processed the stormwater quickly enough so the water pools in the street causing traffic and parking disruption. We would like to find a solution to this stormwater and runoff issue. Thanks, Gavin Kelly
This house is a fire hazard. Flickering outdoor lights from raccoon and water damage. Large holes in roof. Excessive growth, fabric curtains in front porch make this house a fire hazard. There is an open report on this home for over 200 days with Mike Arnold. Nothing has been find and the neighborhood is aware of the city report having been filed. This house is a violation of many city codes and nothing is being done.

The northbound traffic at Kinser Pike and the bypass gets so backed up many evenings past Brookdale Drive. It takes so many lights to get through. If you’re going straight, the majority of the cars are making right turns, especially now with the amount of student apartments that are along the south end of Kinser Pike. There needs to be a right turn lane on that side of the intersection. Also, on the opposite side of the intersection, the right turn lane and the straight lane of southbound. Kinser Pike holds a lot of water when it rains due to the new white curb with the white poles that has been installed there. Those are really an eyesore, but it’s causing water to flood when we have rain.
This house is listed for rent for $1500 a month. The house is uninhabitable. The roof leaks, there is mold throughout, there is an open well/water pit underneath an unstable outbuilding with bad flooring, you can see outside from inside throughout the entire place, boards are falling off in several places. The environmental health was on site and said it needs a new septic system by June 2, 2025. The landlord knows this and put it up for rent the very next day. There are plenty of videos and photos of what is going on with the property.
There is a small, cylindrical fire hydrant on the SW corner of my neighbor's front yard. The hydrant is across the cul du sac from my home at 1810 Longwood Court East. It appears to me that this hydrant is leaking or cracked. There is water seeping into my neighbor's front ditch, then under the street and out the end of the cul du sac, causing much more erosion than normal. It probably needs to be repaired.
When it rains, the run off comes down my driveway off of High street and the parallel sidewalk and runs down my driveway pooling in front of my garage door and in turn enters my house. This will occur during a rainfall of 0.5 inch or more. Would it be possible to look at the drains on High street or add one at the top of the hill to divert water away from my driveway?
Pothole next to storm drain. Water is beginning to undermine the roadway next to the drain.
