I provided information on what constitutes illegal panhandling and who they can call to report such behavior.
Other: The pan handlers standing on every corner with their homeless sign in Bloomington is getting out of hand. I manage a bank and they watch when we get our shipment of money in and watch the replacement of ATM canisters, I believe they should not be able to watch a banks or and other business to be able to steak out a business. Years ago Regions was robbed and that is how he steak the bank out to rob. Most of the our drug users and the leave their trash and damage our personal property. It is time you put a stop to all the pan handling. Any time the police see someone pan handling arrest and book them. What money they have earned from pan handling confiscate it and that is their fee for breaking the law of pan handling.

Thank you for contacting us about this matter. Panhandling is a legal activity but there are reasons which cause the act to become unacceptable and illegal. I have follow-up questions for your case but I am unable to reach out to you due to your anonymity. Please do call the non-emergency phone numbers to report aggressive panhandling which is defined at this webpage: https://bloomington.in.gov/public-safety/safe-civil/panhandling. The non-emergency Safe and Civil City Hotline is 812-355-7777 and the non-emergency Police line is 812-339-4477. If you do feel that your place of business is being monitored for a potential crime, then you would definitely want to let the Police know.
Hi Marnina, Would you check in with OOTM and/or CFRD to see if they have any standard response re issues like this then communicate that back to the person inquiring? Once complete, please close the uReport. Thanks, Alex
