Refuse partially blocking sidewalk.
Refuse partially blocking sidewalk.
We hired Arnolds Asphalt to put a driveway in and in the process of preparation, they found standing water where the meter is. Before we proceed with the driveway, I believe we need to have someone from the Bloomington city utilities department to inspect this to make sure there are no issues before new blacktop goes over it with a protective sleeve. We were notified after a fire about 2 or 3 years ago that there was a leak and there was standing water in this at the time perhaps do to the big fire trucks rolling over it while putting out the fire. Could someone please come inspect this to make sure there are no issues prior to blacktop?
dumpster moved, trash being used by neighboring complex
A stop sign at Allendale and Westminster (for cars going east on Allendale--sign is on south side of road)is constantly being ignored by folks driving on Allendale. Is foliage blocking the sign maybe? We need some traffic calming measures before someone gets injured by a car not stopping.
I took this picture from University & Henderson. You cannot see the stop sign at 1st street at all. You cannot see it from 2nd & Henderson either, but I cannot upload more than 1 photo.
At 3425 E Third street there are all kinds of appliances in the yard of a residential neighborhood. These need to be removed. Thanks.
Nate Gilliland I am not sure what is going on at IU health Bloomington my son Garrett may be trapped in the basement and criminal gang affiliation have induced crazy chemicals and smog throughout and at IU library etc find him
An anonymous person reported a cat stuck in a storm drain at Brookside and Ridgeview on the Lost Pets page. We have encouraged them to report it immediately but I wanted to follow up and report it as well, since the matter appears urgent due to the duration of entrapment and weather conditions. I also thought that this might be a multidisciplinary solution type of situation! Thank you so much.
Trash scattered about on north side of property along 11th Street. Wild animals digging through it.
Discarded furniture along street. Property to the east across the alley has the same. It's been there so long it is killing the grass. If residents have moved out, can property owners be obliged to clean up their tenants' messes?
