Potholes
#181580 original case number. Can I please get an update on this? If the lights were ever replaced, it did nothing to dim them since original install. Could we at least get shields on the lights to direct the light toward the street and not our house. It is ridiculous to be able to read a book at midnight in the backyard with ease. Nuisance Lights: Other: The street lights need to be reangled or shielded so the light shines only onto the intersection and stops blinding the houses at the intersection. The light on the southwest corner is particularly bad due to the height of the land and the angle of the light. We issued several complaints when the intersection was re-done and nothing has ever been done. The light pollution is terrible at this intersection and there is no reason it should be brighter than even Walnut and Winslow. Please install light shields to angle the lighting properly.
All the light posts along E Cottage Grove Ave stretching from the start of the road near Woodlawn Ave to Indiana Ave the light posts are defective radiating a blue/purple light that is not safe when it’s a block from a big ten campus. It actually makes it more eerie and more difficult to see when walking at night. Please replace these immediately, it’s a safety hazard.
I noticed a large pothold in the middle of the street on this block this morning. I don't think it was there last night, and it was dangerously large!

There's another drug syringe on West 8th St., due west of the Waterman's Addition gateway sign.
Pothole on the south side of E Second Street (red, wavy wall) near one of the temporary signs in the grass.
Pothole on Auto Mall Road, close to the intersection with Covenanter, near the entrance to the little shopping strip where, among others, the Btown International Market is.
Multiple potholes on S Woodcrest (400 block) between the bus stops near the entrance to the IU Credit Union.
