I see that the Winslow trail around the baseball/softball fields is being upgraded. I've heard it will be widened and paved. Please be sure to put up a sign to remind bicyclists to yield to walkers--the sign you posted on the Jackson Creek Trail would be great. I walk this path 2 times a day. And lately too often bicyclists just plow down the trail expecting walkers to clear out of the way, even when they come upon a walker from behind.

There is a huge pot hole on the junction of Morton and 10th that wasn't there before and it only showed up after the road was closed on Friday. The pothole was so huge that it damaged the wheel cover of my car which is now affecting the tire pressure on that side of the wheel. I believe this wasn't my fault and now I'm suffering the consequences.

City Arborist told me to contact HAND for tree code violations. There are at least 1/2 dozen dead trees at entrance to The Arbors Apartments on E. Moores Pike. Several large limbs have fallen recently, causing hazard to people, dogs and cars. Manager is aware of problem & has said he plans to remove them, but weeks have passed & no action has been taken. I walk my dog on the path & road where these trees are & it frightens me to walk by them, especially on a windy day.

Hi there! My name is Melanie Nelson, I work in environmental services for Daly City. Our department is putting together a workshop on water conservation in the home as part of our "Going Green" series. We see it as a great way to protect the environment while also educating the community and saving them money, it's a win-win-win situation! Debris in the bike lane got into my front wheel and caused damage. Bike lanes really need to be cleaner. I wasn't hurt, but it could have been much worse.
